TAAG Environmental and Climate Justice Fellowships

Youth Fellowship
The Work
The youth fellowship was in partnership with The Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) Black Hive. We worked together to facilitate The Youth Earthseed Fellowship, which was designed to inform and cultivate a rising generation of youth climate visionaries grounded in Black liberation.
The youth learned about the Black Climate Mandate developed by the Black Hive.

Adult Fellowship
The Work
The adult Holistic Community Vision Fellowship: Empowering Food and Environmental Justice was a partnership with Pennsylvania State University professors Dr. Justine Lindemann, Dr. Andrew R. Smolski, Dr. Cathy Royal, and graduate student Elisabeth Ramsey.
It focused on using the evidence-based model of Appreciative Inquiry Asset Mapping. Fellows were trained on this model and used these skills to teach it to community members in a one-day session (train-the-trainer). TAAG is grateful to our partners and community members for
working with us on these fellowships.
