Due to the steel mill fire were providing transportation assistance at a rate of $50 per family for people to get to medical appointments via Uber and Lyft. Proof of residency and or medical appointment will be required. This is a part of our rapid response efforts and ends on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Program guidelines include:

• Must be a Clairton resident.

• One person per household (ages 16 & up) can receive up to $50 to attend medical appointments.

• Once you apply, a TAAG representative will respond within 24-48 HOURS (2 business days M-F) as this is not a crisis service 

• Funds will be disbursed through Cash App, etc.                                                                                                         

• Please note that after registering, a majority of the communication will occur via email and text. Therefore, please provide a cell phone number and email that you check frequently.
